We’re looking for an experienced hospitality professional with an outgoing personality to take the helm of the Hare and Hounds pub. We need someone who can demonstrate strong leadership, passion, and vision when crafting the next stage in the pub’s success.
In return, you’ll run a popular pub offering value food, premium drinks, and cask ales. If you’re a sports enthusiast who loves hosting live events, this is the pub for you with live TV Sports on show and regular entertainment on offer.
You will need to have the desire, drive, and commitment to be the proud figurehead of the local community. These qualities are what the Hare and Hounds needs. Someone everybody knows and respects. A personality held close to the heart of a local community.
The pub needs an excellent host with knowledge of dry stock control and attention to detail. You’ll also be speedy and accurate in your service. It’s a large, popular pub.
You’ll be an exceptional people person, getting the best out of your team through coaching, training, delegation, and support. We need a true leader who can inspire their team to share their passion for exceptional service, going above and beyond every day.
Local knowledge is an advantage but not essential. You will have a true passion for driving sales at every opportunity.

You’ll take advantage of the pub’s prime position surrounded by houses on the main road between Telford and Oakengates, which bring regular passing trade. Guests include locals, families looking for a bite to eat, shoppers, local office workers and night owls seeking weekend entertainment. You could make this majestic local an irresistible food venue. Somewhere for special occasions taking advantage of the outdoor beer garden space!
