The Huntsman is a great community pub located on the popular Woodham housing estate in the large town of Newton Aycliffe. The pub attracts a local customer base as well as customers from the surrounding towns and villages.
The indoor trading area offers large stone archways which connect the lounge and bar area, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The decor is contemporary and in good condition throughout with a mixture of loose and fixed seating that provides around 70 covers. Whilst there is a bar servery, it is separated in the middle by a pillar that divides the bar into two distinct trading areas, each lending itself to the two separate areas of the pub.
The Huntsman also has space to host live music nights and TV screens are well positioned throughout the pub for showing live sports. A well-equipped trade kitchen is also on site which is reasonably sized and capable of producing a traditional menu.
