Widnes, Cheshire is an industrial town which sits on the northern bank of the River Mersey with access across the estuary to Runcorn.
The pub is in a residential area, not far from the Widnes Golf Club and is also near the Halton Stadium, home to The Widnes Vikings and is surrounded by smaller suburbs across the local area including Appleton, Ditton, Farnworth and Hough Green.

We’re looking for an MP with a proven track record of running a successful community pub to take charge of the restaurant, kitchen, entertainment, and overall business. You’ll lead from the front and be the face of the pub. Your background will be that of a talented general manager or an established pub operator.
You’ll also be a leader who looks after your team, ensuring that the necessary training and procedures are in place to deliver consistently excellent guest service. Your service ethos will combine friendliness and impeccable standards with the ability to cultivate and nurture relationships with guests. You’ll be process-driven and detail-orientated.
You’ll also be versatile and adaptable, able to tailor to the business needs depending on weather, season, and events. The pub needs someone enthusiastic, hands-on and a fantastic host. Big-ticket event experience is a plus. You’ll enjoy playing the role of host with flair, focused on quality, efficiency, and guest relationships.
