The village is an old farming village with arterial routes from Leaming Bar to Northallerton so makes for a busy road and lots of passing trade. The pub enjoys a large open plan trading style main bar area, with a separate cosy snug featuring a log burner for those colder days. Both are serviced by the main bar servery. The pub also benefits from having a large restaurant/function room. The toilets can be accessed from the main bar, which also leads to a large catering kitchen and dry store. There is also a ground floor cellar to the rear and extra dry storage. To the rear of the property are three high standard letting rooms with separate access through the beer garden.
The private accommodation consists of three large bedrooms, large living room, family bathroom, kitchen and office.
