The pub is Cask Marque accredited and there is a focus on the delivery of quality cask ale, as well as world beers and wines.
Business facilities
This well-kept pub trades from an open-plan central bar, with several quirky areas away from the bar. This results in plenty of space for drinkers and diners alike.
The catering kitchen is on the ground floor and gives immediate access to the dining areas.
It is a good size and is fully equipped to facilitate service to the 56 guest covers.
Both sets of toilets are situated on the 1st floor with an accessible toilet being located next to the bar.
The exterior of the pub is very inviting to regulars and new visitors alike.
To the rear there is a large patio / garden, which allows for drinkers and diners alike and is popular throughout the year.
Beyond the garden there is a generous car park, allowing parking for 18 vehicles.
The pub has traded exceptionally well over recent years and as such we are planning further investment within the next 12 months.
This will include redecoration of the customer areas and the exterior of the building.
Accommodation
The domestic accommodation consists of three bedrooms and a lounge. Punch will ensure that this accommodation is in good order.
About the local area
An affluent town near Ipswich, Woodbridge is a pretty riverside town with a rich and proud history.
It sees significant seasonal trade, peaking in summer months.
With a buzz all of its own, the town really comes to life during its annual seafood festival, though visitors come here all year round to enjoy the picturesque harbourside, living museum, shops and cafes – and to visit the world-famous Sutton Hoo site, which is just a few miles away.
There are plenty of schools here, and with a railway station and the A12 leading into the heart of London, transport links couldn’t be better.
