To the front of the property fenced off from the car park is the seasonally popular beer garden. Moving into the pub off the car park is the door to the lounge area and a passage way, with ladies and gents’ toilets leading to the popular bar area. Patio doors to the right of the bar lead onto a small outside paved area. Back of house comprises a sizeable commercial kitchen, beer cellar and access to the private accommodation. The décor is a mixture of loose and fixed seating with traditional wooden beams and an open fire creating a warm and welcoming ambience. Externally there is a car park for approximately twenty vehicles.
The Royal Oak is the main hub in the community with a comprehensive choice of drinks including cask ales.
