We’re looking for a Five Star publican with the experience needed to maximise the potential of the upstairs function room with a fully functional bar, a sports area to the rear, a restaurant, nine living bedrooms and a small beer garden at the rear of the pub overlooking the stunning castle ruins.

You’ll also have catering experience with a fastidious eye for detail. We’re looking for an operator enthusiastic about food who will take full advantage of the large catering kitchen and cellar.

You’ll find the Station Hotel on a hill with stunning views on the outskirts of Penrith in the Lake District. The astute Publican will maximise the benefits of a thriving tourist trade.

The train station provides access from all over the country and the castle ruins behind the station are a tourist attraction alongside the diverse walks around Penrith, making it a great midway point for visitors to the Lakes.
