The Thirsty Farmer is a well presented two storey detached Victorian pub with rendered elevations under a pitched slate roof. Internally the pub is arranged as a large open plan trading area, full of character with low beams, panelled ceilings and focal central timber topped and panel fronted bar servery. The trading floor is split into three areas that are all interconnecting. The top restaurant has 34 covers with seating at a selection of timber tables with upholstered trestle and spindle back chairs. The second is a light and airy room on a slightly raised level with double doors to the garden. This room can be divided with removable sliding doors for private functions. The bottom restaurant continues in the same style with seating for 18 covers at oblong and circular timber tables and there is a centrally positioned exposed brick fireplace. The main bar, occupying the corner and rear section of the trading floor is continued in the same style as the restaurants and comes with separate fireplace and painted timber panelling to the walls. There is a separate bar servery which interconnects with the main bar servery which has seating for 24 covers near the sports area and features two wall mounted dart boards, a pool table, table football and a flat screen TV over a large open real fire. A fully equipped commercial kitchen is also located at the pub with part tiled walls, non-slip flooring, a six-ring gas range and oven. To the rear is a beer garden, which is part patio and part grass with access. To the front of the pub there is a pretty beer garden with pub bench seating for 80 plus covers.
The private accommodation comprises of three double bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and shared bathroom.
