Built during the eighteenth century, Ye Olde Two Brewers is a traditional quaint pub, renowned for its great selection of real ales and great home cooked food. You will find the pub nestled in the heart of St James community, at the foot of the famous Gold Hill, the setting for the iconic Hovis advert. This quietly affluent area was once bustling with successful businesses such as tanneries and laundries taking advantage of the abundant water from the old pump house. The attractive internal trade area is furnished to a high standard and includes various snugs and seating areas. To the right of the front entrance is a small, raised snug with soft furnishings and a cosy fire place. The bar servery is next to this, facing out into the carpeted public bar which has seating for 22 covers. The separate restaurant can accommodate 30 covers and has an open fire, wooden flooring and French doors leading out on to the veranda and the beer garden. There is a fully fitted, well-equipped trade kitchen and a skittle alley that can be utilised for functions or meetings. Externally the pub benefits from a spacious beer garden with great views over the Blackmore Vale. There is picnic bench seating, children's play equipment, a raised veranda with a drinks bar and a heated smoking shelter, ensuring this area is a real asset to the property. A small car park has space for 8 vehicles and on street parking is also available.
