The Wheatsheaf is a large corner site located in the village of West Boldon some 4 miles North West of Sunderland city centre. It is a three roomed pub with a bar and lounge on the ground floor and restaurant on the first floor. This lovely traditional pub offers a large well equipped bar, cosy lounge and decent sized restaurant area. The bar has circa 20 covers, a pool table and dartboard with the opportunity to provide sports teams and competitions creating a further revenue stream for the pub. The larger lounge has approximately 40 covers and features beautiful hardwood flooring throughout creating a traditional feel. Both rooms have a mix of fixed and loose seating and are fairly traditional in style. The first floor restaurant has a fully equipped kitchen and has circa 40 covers with the potential to create a lovely traditional food offering. The main drinking areas are separated into a bar and lounge, ideal for casual drinkers to enjoy. The bar is well known for its big screen showing sky sports and indoor sports facilities. The lounge provides further opportunity for live music, karaoke and other entertainment nights for the locals to appreciate. To the rear of the property there is a decent size courtyard style drinking/smoking area with benches and tables for customers to enjoy a drink especially in the warmer months. There is also a sheltered designated smoking area. The pub benefits from its own car park offering space for approximately 15 vehicles.
