Heading out for a few drinks this weekend and looking for some of the best pubs in Southsea? Why not check out The Greenwich Brewpub Southsea which is now under new ownership and open Wednesdays – Sundays! They have plenty of beer which is brewed onsite from Makemake. They also have a great range of other guest ales, wines and spirits to choose from! No booking is necessary, just turn up and enjoy a socially distanced cold one with them!

Not far from Southsea seafront The Greenwich is located on Osborne Road. The Greenwich is a fully independent free house and brewpub which is the perfect place for one of their purveying craft beers, wines and spirits. They have recently added some new brands to the bar but will continue with craft ales including lots of beer from their in-house brewery MakeMake.

The Greenwich Brewpub Southsea is being masterminded by two best friends and two very well known quality operators in the hospitality sector. Giles Babb and Mark Hogan are no strangers to operating fantastic venues as the brain childs behind some great venues already like The Bluebell in Emsworth and The Star And Garter in East Dean, All popular venues i’m sure you have heard of and enjoyed previously. Both Giles and Mark have always been extremely focused and supporting local businesses aswell as providing quality produce to their customers. We can’t wait to see what the future menu looks like. We will be one of the first people in line to break the news of anything coming out of this fantastic venue!

Opening hours will be as follows:

Monday : Closed

Tuesday : Closed

Wednesday – Thursday : 4pm – 11pm

Friday – Saturday : 12pm – 11pm

Sunday : 12pm – 8pm

At the moment the pub is drinks only but they are currently working on a food menu which will be launched soon. Make sure you are following their social media and Love Your Pub to stay in the know!
