There is a train station just a short walk away from the pub which commutes to Cambridge in twenty minutes and Kings Cross in thirty minutes.
Pub Layout Upon entering the pub, there is the entrance corridor where you’ll find two sets of toilets which when leads through to the main bar. The bar area has a large bar servery and a mixture of fixed and loose seating, accommodating up to twenty covers, along with an adjoining sports area, complete with pool table and darts oche. Leading off the main bar is a function room / restaurant with the potential for a further twenty covers. A well equipped, catering kitchen is leading directly from the function room area for ease of access. Externally there is a car park for up to eight vehicles, however there is also ample street parking available. To the rear of the pub you will find a hard landscaped patio area with a number of picnic benches, this is a great space which has in the past been used to house marques for community events and entertainment.
TRADING STYLE The Rose and Crown is a successful village pub and the heart of the community. The main trading is early evenings and weekends with live sports shown and community teams playing pool and darts.
