About the Pub
The College Arms is a fantastic business popular with those passing by as well as the locals from the charming village of Lower Quinton. On entrance to the pub, you are welcomed into a main bar area which provides covers for around 25 people- a classic get-together room with old beams, exposed Cotswold stone walls and a magnificent log fire providing the backdrop to ale drinking, dominoes and quiz nights. The U-shaped bar also serves the restaurant where the theme continues with walls being a mix of part exposed stone and part decorative wood panel, along with beamed ceilings and parquet flooring; an amazing place to dine, seating 50 covers. A side entrance doorway leads to the games room which has plenty of space for the pool table, darts board, and is again laid out on another lovely flagstone floor. The lounge has seating arranged around one of the many original inglenook fireplaces incorporated throughout the property; glass doors open out from the 60-cover lounge onto a picture-perfect patio and garden. The refectory room is ideal for private functions, opening up onto its own private garden providing the means and flexibility to accommodate gatherings and special occasions. Accessible from the bar or a private entrance, all five en-suite letting rooms have televisions, free Wi-Fi, and views that provide guests with a real home-from-home feeling. A nice addition is the self-contained apartment to the rear of the building, which comprises a lounge/kitchen space, separate double bedroom and bathroom. The catering kitchen that comes with a full range of stainless-steel equipment is core to the delivery of the pub’s already substantial food offer. There is also a storage shed, a large double garage and a car park to the side which has space for 15 vehicles. Stonegate Pub Partners are now seeking an experienced publican who can run a business with multiple revenue streams particularly capable of producing a high quality food offer.
