Pubs To Let In Fort William – Run The Marburgh Inn !
The Maryburgh Inn is located in Fort William, a town in the Scottish Highlands. Fort William is a major tourist centre on the road to the isles, with Glen Coe to the south and Ben Nevis to the east. Fort William is a centre for hillwalking and climbing but is also known for its nearby downhill mountain bike track and is popular with tourists due to its close proximity to Ben Nevis. With a population of approximately 10,459, Fort William is the second largest settlement, behind the city of Inverness and is located on the A82 with links to the M8 towards Glasgow. The West Highland line also passes through Fort William providing excellent train links in what can be known as difficult terrain.
Pub Layout
Upon entrance from the main street you head downstairs to a basement bar area. This area is complete with a light up flower wall, brightening up the stone walls and enticing you to what’s in store from the bar areas. Turning right into the main bar, you are greeted by a huge well, centred in front of the bar. This is a beautiful centre piece to the room, it can be used as a table and is lit up inside providing ambiance and a focal meeting point. The galley style bar lines the length of the back wall and is stocked with premium products with a small DJ booth at the end. Alongside the main room there is another room complete with a pool table, benched seating and the toilets. Neon signs and Tv’s adorn the walls in this room highlighting upcoming events and creating the vibe for the pub.
