And the pub has a traditional underground cellar. The large beer garden has been transformed into The Cheshire Gin Garden with a bar, ample seating and TVS for large sporting events.
Cheshire Cheese is situated in Wallasey Village, and is on the main bus routes to New Brighton one way and Birkenhead the other. A short walk will also take you to the Merseyrail station in Wallasey Village. Though the pub has no car park there is ample street parking around the pub.
