The Angel enjoys a prominent position opposite a large and well used local park on Palmerston Road, on the edge of Southampton city centre. The pub is located some 200 metres from Southampton Solent University main campus and the halls of residence are just as close. The open plan layout offers a mixed variety of fixed and loose seating along with another area left available for those preferring to stand.
