Pubs To Let In Thurgoland – The Bridge Inn Is Available !
The Bridge Inn is a stone built traditional pub, tucked away in the rural parish of Thurgoland, located approximately 11 miles northwest of Sheffield city centre. The pub has a cosy traditional tap room serving a variety of cask ales which are very popular with the local villagers and diners alike. The pub also lends itself to providing excellent homecooked pub fayre which would attract not only locals but walkers, guests from the local holiday cottages and people from the surrounding areas. The Bridge Inn has a very traditional feel, with a combination of carpeted, stone and wooden flooring, with exposed beams in the ceiling and wooden panelled walls. From entering the pub through its main entrance, customers are directed to the left into the main bar area with space for 25 covers. To the right is a cosy tap room which welcomes both muddy boots as well as muddy paws and has space for 20 covers. A large open fireplace ensures that even on the coldest of days customers stay warm and comfortable. There is a large, grassed beer garden to the rear with space for 50 covers, which the new publican could add benches for customers to enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.
Private Accomodation
The domestic accommodation has two access points – one from the bar area and the other externally from the rear of the property. It comprises of a family kitchen with fitted cupboards and electric points. There is also a large lounge area with fire, 3 bedrooms and a shower room with seperate WC.

I am looking for an experienced publican to build on the success of the current operator. This building oozes character and potential, and just requires a driven individual to push the food side of the business and capitalise on the character of the site. Historically, this pub has enjoyed a very loyal following from the local villagers, who visit regularly to enjoy great beer and sample the traditional home cooked food on offer. The area is very popular with walkers, as there are a number of footpaths nearby including access to the Trans Pennine Trail, which offers a fantastic opportunity.
