About The Hanger Freehouse
We’re a newly renovated modern pub ready to make its mark in the local area and beyond, serving delicious food and handpicked quality drinks.
Here at The Hanger our goal is to create first impressions that really count. The Hanger Freehouse is located amidst the beautiful countryside in the village of Oakhanger, Hampshire. It is thought that the pub dates back as far as 1550 and was previously known as The Red Lion & The Rising Sun Inn.
Our pub offers a light contemporary dining room where we showcase the best in seasonal food, championing Hampshire’s best suppliers. Or you can enjoy a pint of Hampshire Ale or choose from our extensive gin menu in the cosy bar area with a selection of delicious bar snacks.
