Run A Pub In Hereford – The Broadleys Is Available !
The Broadleys occupies a prominent corner position on the busy A49, the main arterial router through Hereford. Hereford is a cathedral city, civil parish and the county town of Herefordshire. It lies on the River Wye, approximately 16 miles east of the border with Wales, 23 miles north-west of Gloucester and 24 miles south-west of Worcester. With a population of 53,112, it is the largest settlement in Herefordshire.
Pub Layout
As you enter the pub, you will notice two distinct trading areas. On the left is the ‘bar’ section, featuring a mix of fixed and loose seating, TVs, and a jukebox. On the right is the ‘lounge’ area, which also has a combination of fixed and loose seating, TVs, and houses the pool table. Both sections are served by a central bar servery, but they feel very separate due to a partition wall. Each area has its own toilet facilities. Behind the bar, there is a commercial kitchen. The pub, named The Broadleys, also offers a car park with space for approximately 12 vehicles and an external drinking area.

The spacious accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms, lounge, bathroom and kitchen.

Our vision for the pub is to be the hub of the community but also attracting customers from further afield. There is much opportunity for growth here and the new licensee should look to add a regular calendar of events, develop sports teams including pool and darts and the re-introduction of food would be essential to maximise this business. This pub could suit someone new to the trade with transferrable skills or an experienced pub licensee.
