Upon entering, you are welcomed into an open plan area with the main bar servery which services all areas with two distinctive trading areas which are eclectically balanced with new bright and vibrant loose and fixed seating and both wooden and carpeted areas. The design of the New Griffin is carefully thought through to ensure the pub keeps its traditional and vibrant feel making. The pub has a dedicated entertainment space featuring DJ box, pool table and two darts boards, televisions can be spotted throughout the pub and are an added bonus for sports enthusiasts showing Sky & TNT. Externally there are drinking spaces to the front and rear of the pub, a large rear beer garden with off road parking and features a covered seating area, to the front is a smaller seating area with wooden benches and tastefully decorated with festoon lighting.

The private accommodation is accessed through the pub and is located on the first floor. It consists of three bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and lounge and is in good order.

This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home a percentage of the weekly sales, you are responsible for paying all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax for the residential quarters.

Martin Wood is seeking an experienced operator to take the reins and develop this great pub. You will need to have bags of energy and the determination to ensure this is a great community pub. You will need to have a good understanding of the local marketplace and have previous experience in delivering live entertainment. It is paramount you can display the skill set to deliver great standards, service and put the community at the heart of all that you do. Your creativity, adaptability, and proactive approach will be essential in ensuring the ongoing success of our pub.
