If you’re wondering what events are happening at South Coast distilleries this week, go and watch The Southern Bartenders Competition at The Portsmouth Distillery ! Taking place on Thursday 11th May at 5.30pm, this is your chance to grab any last minute tickets for what promises to be a fantastic evening! And all ticket entry proceeds go to The Naval Children’s Charity.

We are extremely excited to be hosting this years ‘Southern Bartenders Competition’… Needless, to say we will be opening up our rum shack & indoor bar exclusively for this event – serving up our delicious spirits all evening!

The Portsmouth Distillery also offer a full tour of all facilities, with expert explanations about the processes used in the creation of their fine spirits. You’ll learn about their passion and the history of historic Fort Cumberland, learn how they make the amazing spirits and visit the jewel in their crown, the Powder Magazine.
There you’ll get to taste their fabulous spirits and have a chance to soak up some of the history of the place they are proud to call home. Once you’ve tasted the spirits and chosen your favourite, your ticket will also include a full sized drink of your choice, and of course you are welcome to stay for a few more in our fully licensed bar.
There is a shop at the distillery as well as online, stocking the full range of their spirits, gift packs and merchandise so you’ll be able to take something home to continue to enjoy the experience.
