One of the most legendary bars in Southampton is getting ready for one hell of a night as they celebrate The Frog and Frigate having been open for 5 years since its official relaunch in 2015!
….. and 39 years since it’s story began! A legend is a long time in the making, and without all the amazing people who have come through the door over all those years, we wouldn’t be any more than just another pub. Enough said – it’s time to celebrate a small pub with a big punch! Tables for dancing on, sawdust for soaking up the beer, Derek for the music and song; what more do you need!

Went in with friends on a Saturday night. Live music from a competent lone guitarist who knows his audience. Sawdust floor and bench seating. Great friendly feeling from all the customers with plenty of banter between the guitarist and the crowd. The place was heaving by 11.00 with everyone singing along as there was no space left to dance.
