One of the most legendary bars in Southampton is getting ready for one hell of a night as they celebrate The Frog and Frigate having been open for 5 years since its official relaunch in 2015!
….. and 39 years since it’s story began! A legend is a long time in the making, and without all the amazing people who have come through the door over all those years, we wouldn’t be any more than just another pub. Enough said – it’s time to celebrate a small pub with a big punch! Tables for dancing on, sawdust for soaking up the beer, Derek for the music and song; what more do you need!
Friday 6th & Saturday 7th March – 9pm to 2am
£4 Entry – To Include a *Prize Draw Ticket
Frog Pint Cocktails £6
House Doubles £5
5 Jagerbombs £10
4 Tequila Shots £10
*Prizes will be drawn at midnight, to include our Frog mascots, the bilge rats, a signed ‘Night at The Frog & Frigate’ CD, a signed Frog T-shirt, A special edition Frog Fleece and a hot date with the legendary Derek himself! (still working on that one)
From the sawdust on the old oak floors, to the ship’s wheel behind the bar, the storm lanterns, the block & tackle coat shelf and the ‘pirate-frog’ murals on the walls – this famous inn of beer and song welcomes adventurers, pirates and the simply curious.
If you’ve been to The Frog, sung your head off and danced on our tables, you are officially a ‘Frogger.’

….always a fantastic night out. [December 2019 Facebook]
Went in with friends on a Saturday night. Live music from a competent lone guitarist who knows his audience. Sawdust floor and bench seating. Great friendly feeling from all the customers with plenty of banter between the guitarist and the crowd. The place was heaving by 11.00 with everyone singing along as there was no space left to dance. [Jan 2020 TripAdvisor]
