Our friends have lots going on for you to enjoy over Christmas and new year! Their Christmas quiz takes place TONIGHT at 8pm (so there’s still time to grab your teams of 6 and head on down)! Or if you’re feeling lucky, head down on Friday 22nd December at 8pm for their Grand Christmas Draw! And of that’s not enough festive cheer to keep you going, warm up your vocal chords and join them for their Christmas Carol Service on 23rd December 5-7pm (they’ll be warm mince pies and mulled wine available too)!

About The Fox & Hounds
They are More Than Just a Pub . . . . Previously named ‘The Fox Beerhouse’ it became generally known as the Fox and Hounds, the name which it has retained in one form or another for over 140 years. It is first recorded on the census for 1851 with Selina Purcell recorded as a beerhouse keeper. In 1936 the old public house was demolished and a new one built to the rear of the old one. Which is now the Fox and Hounds that we all know and love as your local community pub.
Open 7 days a week this family friendly traditional pub offers a wide range of light bite lunch options as well as, evening meals and pub roasts on a Sunday. The kitchen is open everyday from 12:00 – 16:45.
You’re welcome to take along your furry friends too as long as they are friendly and kept on a lead at all times. Water and treats are provided to make their visit as enjoyable as yours.

Enjoy a cold one in the patio area at the rear of the pub where there is plenty of seating and a designated smoking area.
At the back of the Patio they have a childrens play area for children aged 2-10. All children must be supervised at all times but the patio furniture makes it easy for you to enjoy your lunch whilst keeping eye on the little ones.
You can also challenge your friends to a game of darts or pool!
