JOB DESCRIPTION
As General Manager you will be able to drive sales through engagement with the customers and a wide range of reasons to visit.
The pub is currently in a very strong trading position, and we are looking for some to be able to build on its current success.
The Farmer’s Arms was invested in in March 2020 and is still in tip top condition.
It has two main trading bars, with a pool table, juke box and fantastic sports viewing.
Also benefitting from a newly decorated self-contained function room that thrives off the local community hosting a variety of private hire functions and events such as family Easter and Christmas parties and cabaret nights.
There is a large beer garden to the rear that plays host to summer garden parties and a community bowling green.

Although food isn’t a large part of the sales mix here, we still need a General Manager who is well versed with a food operation as we do run a Pizza menu and we cater buffets for the many functions that are held on a weekly basis.
Our ideal General Manager will be a hands-on Landlord / Land Lady, fully committed to embracing and integrating the local community.
You will have an entrepreneurial flare to maximise the function room, whilst delivering excellent customer service and an exceptional sports atmosphere.
In addition, you will be able to implement compelling reasons to visit every day of the week, alongside community events for key dates.
