We are looking for a people oriented General Manager who can lead the team and to take this business to new heights, the ideal General Manager will have a proven track record within a similar High Street business where possessing the skills to deliver a quality food offering throughout the day and evening coupled with the energy to deliver that hi-tempo party feel towards the weekend is an absolute must. Slug and Lettuce – Didsbury is a 2-floor operation with a function room available for hire. Benefitting from outside seating to the front and along the 1st floor balcony, it is the place to be seen! Famed for our Cocktail Masterclasses, leisurely lunches, afternoon tea and Bottomless Brunches. Slug & Lettuce Didsbury provides a great experience for locals, friendly meet ups, works parties and that BIG Night out. The successful applicant will have experience of successfully running a similar size business and can evidence strong sales building and delivery of profit through their teams with a keen focus on service delivery and exceeding expectations of the customer base. You will be able to demonstrate experience through your past roles of managing and maintaining a large stable team and delivering a high-quality food and a drink offer coupled with that late night trading experience. As a General Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
