JOB DESCRIPTION
Every week our Reconciliations team receive envelopes from our sites nationally with their daily banking records.
As a Reconciliation Assistant you’ll receive weekly banking information for the pubs you support and reconcile their daily banking to create the pubs Weekly Statements of Trade.
The Reconciliation Assistant role is a fantastic first step into an established Finance team.
If you have basic Excel skills and are keen to learn more about banking and finance, please apply now! As Pub Reconciliation Assistant, you’ll be working with a team of Pub Operators and Area Manager, all remotely, so you’ll need to have confident communication skills and be able to prioritise your work.
The successful candidates will be working as part of a team to: Reconcile Pub Weekly Statements of Trade Ensure daily banking’s are verified and cash banking errors are resolved.
Work with Pub Operators, Area Managers and Regional Managers to ensure errors are addressed and reconciled in a timely manner Ideally, you’ll have the following skills or knowledge Knowledge of pub process and procedures, especially in respect of cash, processing credit card transactions and understanding of the Weekly Statements of Trade preferred Accurate posting of journals and processing of invoices Intermediate knowledge of excel Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to: Support and guide Pub Operators and Area Managers Ensure policies and procedures are met Salary is up to £21,000 bonus (up to 10%), 25 days holiday annual leave purchase scheme, and a range of other benefits including contributory pension, a Stonegate discount card to use in our sites, ongoing learning development opportunities, highly engaged teams and a culture of excellence.
