The Hatherton Arms is a double fronted detached pub, situated in a densely populated community Bloxwich. Bloxwich is a traditional old market town, on the outskirts of the popular town of Walsall. Bloxwich town centre is aesthetically pleasing as it is still mostly made up of Victorian and Edwardian buildings and leafy parks and gardens. Bloxwich is well served by public transport and is home to two railway stations, Bloxwich and Bloxwich North and also benefits from great access links to the M6 motorway. The pub is separated into two distinct drinking areas. To the right is the main bar area which has a balance of mixed and loose seating. There is a darts board and large television along with a log fire which is a focal point and creates an added atmosphere to this room. The bar is well stocked with lagers, ciders and spirits although at present there is no cask ale. The second area is an overflow area for the bar it could lend itself to private functions as there is a separate bar which is accessed through from the main bar. This area is in need of some modernisation to bring it up to the same standard of the main bar area. To the rear of the pub is a commercial kitchen and enclosed paved beer garden. The kitchen is currently in need of some works to make it compliant.
