About the Pub – The Peacock Huthwaite
The outlet trades from one central bar, servicing two separate trading areas. On entering the pub, you walk into the lounge where you are welcomed with a real log fire and plenty of comfortable fixed and loose seating, all of which is in good order. The bar is split in the middle of the lounge and bar with the bar located to the rear of the pub and is home to the pool table and darts area. In this area there is also comfortable seating and can also be used as a function room for private parties. Externally, there is a car park to the left side for up to 12 cars, along with a Skittles Alley and an enclosed Children’s Play Area to the rear of the pub. To the front there is a lawned area with a number of picnic benches.
TRADING STYLE The Peacock prides itself by being in the heart of the community by promoting football on TV including BT Sports, catering for local sports teams and offering a wide range of entertainment . A small food offer is available at present but could be expanded on with a new menu and light bites offer. Catering for functions and private events are welcomed and would increase a further revenue stream.
